It'll be in the Autumn. That's later than last year because AMC are juggling more dramas than normal.

Not sure if your autumn comment is for terrestrial TV, but it starts in the States on July 11th.
Still later than usual though (the 2 previous seasons started in March).

According to the wiki page, AMC are going to air 3, 4 minute shorts to bridge the gap. No source on that though.

Trying to time when best to start from season one again so that I don't end up waiting ages from when I finish season three. With Breaking Bad, I probably need to start with season one on July 16th. :P

Just finished the third season last night. Unbelievable. Just one of the most consistently excellent shows around. Can be incredibly intense, genuinely moving, and seriously funny all in one episode. Incredible. Can't wait for the new series. I could never decide if I preferred this or Sons Of Anarchy, but I can't see how SOA can beat it now.

.. Aaron Paul (who plays Jesse) says the show is the darkest it's been in the new season.

Same, he started off a little annoying but really warmed to him in season 2 and 3. The look on his face after the handjob from his wife in the hospital was priceless

Can't wait for the new season to start, those last two episodes were whoppers.

I devoured the 3 season for the second time in this week, so excited for the show. I've read some interviews with Gilligan and this may be the last season, he certainly thought so at the end of season 2, but now he's open to a fifth one.

With all the crap they do show, you think they would find room for this. It's such a great show.
I was on holidays a couple of weeks ago & it was on some Spanish station. It was dubbed. Very funny.

Season 1 was on FX. Were S2/S3 ever shown? If no other channel has the rights to S4, I don't know why Sky Atlantic aren't showing it.

So what do I do. I watched seasons 1-3 on boxset or streamed them so got to watch one after the other.

I dont think I can watch season 4 on a weekly basis. It is going to be torture. Is anyone else thinking of waiting until the season is over and taking a weekend of with a bag of meth, some pepsi and take away and watching it all in one go??

I felt like that about the last two seasons having caught up once season 1 was over but the temptation proved too much. Watching every week adds a different element to it all. You get the suspense without immediate resolution as you can't just turn on the next one,. It's frustrating but it's also brilliant. I think you should join us all and watch it every week.

Bryan Cranston reaffirmed that the fourth season will be yet another step towards his character Walter White turning from "Mr. Chips to Scarface". "If it's a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being Mr. Chips, Scarface being 10, I think he's probably 6 and, by the end of this season, 7," said Cranston.

"He's descending into this new world, this new life he never could have dreamed of, yet, out of necessity, he needs to embrace because he'll die if he doesn't become savvy to the ways of a criminal. This is the case where he's turned dark, he's killed people and that's horrible. But, he has felt more like a man. For the first time in his life he has a pocket full of money, he's accomplished something, he's taken risks, he's intimidated people. Those are all aphrodisiacs to a man, to feel like a peacock for the first time in your entire life."

The star also let slip that the season finale even managed to shock him. Cranston reaffirms that the season premiere, which hits AMC July 17th, will indeed have a "shocking reveal" but that it's nothing compared to the last few surprises at the very end. "Here I am, four years into it playing the lead character and I didn't see it coming. It caught me as much by surprise as anyone else. It's so cool."
