Whatever happened to the launch of MGM HD on UPC? Was announced back in October already and nothing happened. Not like I'm really surprised.

It's not the best channel out there but would be good to at least have have a movie channel added to their tiny HD selection.

AFAIK MGM HD is 'exclusive' to Sky customers - its programming is different to MGM SD thats on UPC

it's still advertised as coming soon on upc's website though: http://www.upc.ie/television/digitalplushd/

I was wondering that myself. It appears to have been removed from the UPC website and there is no 'coming soon' section in the HD channel section anymore.

The schedule's different, but its programming is much the same - old Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer films. We're not missing out on much.

It also has a nicer logo. The MGM on UPC appears cheap. It's presentation style at first was very amateur.
