Poker at the Sporting Emporium is now available on the ground floor in the Arena. The age requirements for membership at the Arena is over 18, Membership is Free (proof of age may be required).

The Sporting Emporium Poker Tournament SchedulePlease note that all Tournaments are “No Limit” Texas Hold’em unless otherwise stated



Thursdays

€50 + €5 Double Chance Freezeout. €1,500 Guaranteed Prize pool.
Starting Stack : 3,000 + 3,000. Clock : 20/25 minutes.
Players will receive half their stack at the start of play and may call for their remaining chips during the first 80 minutes.



The Second Thursday of the Month


€100 + €10 Double Chance Freezeout.
Starting Stack : 4,000 + 4,000.
Clock : 25 minutes, no antes.


Fridays



€35 + €5 Freezeout.
Starting Stack : 5,500.
Clock : 20/25 minutes.


Saturdays


€35 + €5 + €10 Double Chance Freezeout with Scalp.
A player will receive €10 for every opponent they knock out of the Tournament.
Starting Stack : 3,000 + 3,000.
Clock : 20/25 minutes.



Sundays


7.30pm Start

€50 + €5 Freezeout. €1,500 Guaranteed Prize pool.
Starting Stack : 6,000.
Clock : 20/25 minutes.


An early bird chip of 1,000 points will be given to every player who is seated for the start of play of every Tournament.

are your cash games still pot limit only? i went in looking for no limit twice and was told pot limit only.

couple of questions on these too please.

€35 + €5 Freezeout.
Starting Stack : 5,500.

if you're knocked out early can you buyin again as a new player before the break / up to certain blind levels?

We offer all types of cash games. We do normally start of with a Pot Limit game but are more than happy to run a No Limit game if the demand is there (we would rather run both to give players the option).

We do not offer this option in freezeouts, once you have lost your chips you are out of the tournament.

what do you mean by double chance? free rebuy is it?

Yes it is a free rebuy.
In a Double Chance Tounament you recieve half your chips at the start of the tournament and can call for the second half whenever you like up to the first break (4 Levels) at which point you must take the second half or lose them. Then the tournament then plays out asa freezeout.
