Social Welfare Contribution Class K

I recently requested a record of my Social Welfare Contributions.
I see that since 2002, when I retired from work, I have 52 contributions a year listed as Class K.
Looking at the explanatory list of Contribution Classes and Benefits covered, Class K and subclass K1 says "No Benefits or Pensions".
Does that mean that these contributions which were taken from my private pension, will not count towards my Contributory Old Age Pension for which I have applied.
I will be 66 in March.

K class contributions do not count for a state pension. what was your contribution history previous to 2002?
