I've checked with a Mod and I've been given the ok to post this thread here. Thank You.

So hopefully some of you can offer your help :)

    Sue Ryder Charity Shop
    Dublin Street
    Carlow

Is currently looking for volunteer workers for their shop in Carlow.

Even a few hours a week would be a great help.

The shop is open MON - SAT 10am to 5pm.

Volunteering Duties: sorting clothes donations, till operation, sorting and tidying stock, helping customers, window displays, helping categorise books, helping with furniture department, merchandising etc.

The shop also sells Doll's Houses' and these also are assembled in the shop. So if you are handy with "flatpacks" you would be very welcome. :D

Previous retail experience is not required.

Someone with DIY skills also required for a few odd jobs around the shop.
Painting, wallpapering, changing florescent tubes/starters, shelves put up etc.

For more details about Sue Ryder Foundation Ireland you can have a look at their website http://www.sueryderfoundation.ie

Volunteer Application Forms can be picked up in the shop or you can PM me for details.

    Thanks smile.gif
