Personally, he's losing all credibility with me. At first, the drama of it all was entertaining. Now, it's just old. He's not even listening to what his guests are saying, he's just sparring against them all the time. Yawn.

How VB is going to stay impartial and not get involved in a leaders debate that TV3 will be hosting is going to be interesting :D

When will the leaders debate be on?

I love the show, but Vincent usually finds trivial matters and argues about it for 45 minutes then asks important questions for the other 10 followed by tweets-

This months gripe seems to be where Edna is hiding and this stupid debate which is a non issue.

Funny though especially when he recently grilled the green party minister Vincent Cuffe.

Ah cmon I can see where hes coming from, one of the leaders of a political party who presumably wants our vote isnt going on tv to explain why he deserves it. If he doesnt turn up he wont get my vote, its a bit arrogant to assume he just have to go into hiding and be bombarded with votes. vinb says if he doesnt turn up they'll have an empty seat present to represent endas absense.

I cannot STAND Vincent Browne. He annoys me so much. He's rude arrogant and thinks he's asking the most intelligent questions ever known to man, when in truth he's just being a mouth almighty.

People listen to him thinking that it'll up their reputation when they quote/refer to him in social circles, but he really is just a grumpy aul div who knows how to annoy people

I watched that same show but it got a little annoying that he kept asking the FG TD where Enda Kenny was because it lasted for nearly 20 minutes - Also I do believe it makes FG look very week that he doesn't want to debate but in all fairness to him, he is trying to re-negotiate the IMF/ECB loan, anyway my vote isn't going to FF or FG.

VinB is a legend. He cant stand bullshít and since politicians are invariably full of the stuff he's honed a unique way to deal with it. I love watching some jumped up county councilor getting cross examined, being asked to address the question at hand again and again until he finally cracks or in the case of Dan Boyle, makes shít up to please Vincent! It never gets old to me!

I think he's great. I love the way he winds up people on air, best way to break them and have them saying things they should not be saying. You'd know he was an experienced investigative journalist/ lawyer. He certainly isn't a guy you want to mess with; you wouldn't want to be on his bad side. I think he's gotten a dig at almost every political party so far.

I LOVE Vincent Browne, definitely wouldn't do him though, I love his smirk when he's getting guests all pissed off :pac: He does blubber and splutter a bit but that's entertaining, a bit of comedy relief to serious subjects.

I won't do him myself either but I love the little old fella. He's quite cute alright. He smiles in to the camera out of the right hand side of the camera trying to seduce the viewer.
He'll be even cuter though if he gets a form of dementia and starts acting like a small child.

The best thing about Vinny is he clearly doesn't give a toss what anyone thinks. He'll attack anyone he has on the show. Whether he's right or wrong. And for that reason, he's better than all the RTE buerks combined.

VB is very entertaining, he seems to take real pleasure in eviscerating some of his guests live on air with relentless questioning and then watch them flay around trying to fob him off with second rate politicospeak. I won't agree with him on many issues but I enjoy the way he batters our elected twats with tough questions and that exasperated sigh he gives when a politician says something particularity retarded.

He is the best acquisition TV3 ever made. It's true that he can be contrary but that's a large part of his appeal. His bullshít detector is the sharpest around.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,564 ✭✭✭Naikon

It's great watching him tear politicians to pieces. It never ceases to amaze me how politicians can just give wish washy answers without really answering the question asked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,425 ✭✭✭telekon

My favourite Tv personality at the moment.

So sick of RTE/FF propaganda. Especially those who have a particular agenda on supposedly apolitical shows.

Yea, I'm looking at you messrs Tubridy and Duffy...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 132 ✭✭DCUlad

Yeh I think it's fair to say RTE's presenters are as entertaining as a bucket of shyte.

Miriam O'Callaghan the most fertile woman in the lands (you still would), Tubridy just a mix of Peter Crouch and a Ladder, Pat Kenny is being used to conteract insomnia, the list goes on all the way to Sharon Ni whatever she's called.

Here's further evidence of VB just being a prick.
    It's quite entertaining tho.
