Folks, deadly app and all as it is, I've encountered a few problems with it recently.

    1. I've noticed of late that its not always refreshing/updating all my messages unless I manually check myself.

    2. Almost always find myself having to resign in.

    3. Doesn't seem to be notifying me of missed calls anymore when the phone is turned off.

Have the retrieve option set to push, and have selected that the app notifies me of missed calls.
Using samsung galaxy s, running froyo
wondering if its coincidental that these problems became much more apparent since applying darkys rom (9.02)

Is this app working fine for every one else, or is it doing same for you lot?

    Hi there.

Yeah, it is a great app but I'm currently experiencing problems with it. It worked very well when I was with 3, but have since changed to Meteor. Initially it seemed to work fine but just now there's a problem between the message minding service from Meteor switching over to Hullomail.

I've been chatting to Meteor about disabling and enabling (and disabling) their messaging service and then got onto Hullomail about activating it.

I've come to the conclusion that there must be some glitch within either the application or a restriction on the part of Meteor to allow the app to set it up.

The guy from Hullomail informed me that there are many people on Meteor using the app so it must be fine.

Is there something I'm not doing right here?

I've activated/deactivated on both Meteor and Hullomail (and vice versa), but it doesn't seamlessly integrate itself as my message minder.

Suppose I'll just stay with the Meteor voicemail. Not gone on the multiple key tapping (or that automated girll) just to hear a message though.

Works as expected for me on both my HTC Desire running CM7 and my Galaxy Nexus on standard 4.0

Running both on the Vodafone Network

Hmm. Don't suppose you might have any troubleshooting ideas I could try out? I'm leaning to think it's actually a network anomaly at the minute. 3's network worked just fine for me.

I might try and talk to a Meteor 'technician' rather than customer service, although it's hard enough to get hold of one of those even waiting up to an hour or more:(

Sorry for the random thread bump, but something I've noticed with this app recently is, it has started to unblock numbers!

I.E, someone calls your phone, but withholds their number, if you let hullomail take over, as in displaying you have a missed call/voice mail notification, it will display the number in full.

To be clear, the actual phone display will still say 'private number' or 'unknown number' but if you reject/let the phone ring out,v the app kicks in and displays the mobile/landline number of the person trying to call you.

    Very very handy. ;)

Have a problem that the messages on the phone app are not updating since I changed my GMAIL password a few months ago.

I logged on to the myhullomail website and changed the password on the email settings there but it still is not downloading the latest messages on the phone.

I am getting them by email ok.

    Found solution

Could you try signing out and in again to the app? To do this:

    - Go to Settings / About / Sign Out
    - Once sign out has been successful, close down the app completely and open it again
    - Sign in with your details

Can someone please confirm that this problem isn't unique to me.

Is anyone else having difficulties when they get a missed call from an intensional call?

Any messages/missed calls I receive from UK mobiles/land lines are displaying a digit short on the app. As a result the persons name isn't displayed in app and I cant call them back from the app or leave a personalised voice mail.

For eg, lets say I miss a call from 'John' whose number is
+4477511234567 the app will only display +447751123456

Been on to tech support but they've fobbed me of.
