Go see a play - we're known throughout the world for our playwrights.
Go to the pub - they do sell non-alcoholic drinks.
    Get dancing lessons
But, if I had a girlfriend it would be bedroom antics all the way.

Go see a band, maybe. TBH, if you aren't both binge drinkers trying to break bad habits, there's no reason why you can't go to your usual places where alcohol is served to socialize.

i know what we're like, if we go to a pub, we'll end up saying 'a feck it we'll just have one' and then it will lead to 2, 3 , FLOOR....:D

Facebook has a page called things to do on the dry in dublin.

They send you a message every Friday with stuff that is on.

Some great things to do on it and some also for free.

Yes this country revolves around the ole booze but there is plenty to do.....you wont know yourself in a few weeks if u stay off it!

    Good luck

Just back from a scrumptious dinner in Findlaters Howth -with herself - around the 50 euro mark

If you are serious about treating yourselves well on a budget make an effort to do nice things and Boards Deals do cool weekends away etc

If in Dublin - the Galleries like IMMA on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon are nice and romantic

Theatre - some are quite cheap

And if my partner wasn't against greyhound racing - I would go to Shelbourne Park a bit
