Hi guys. I went for a walk across the silage fields yesterday to check growth and boundary fencing. I noticed a lot of my docks roots dug up and exposed, some down as far as a foot deep. Some of the roots were broken off and carried a few feet away from the rest of the plant. What would be doing this and why:confused:. And would the broken off pieces of roots grow again as new plants. This is old pasture with about 50% ryegrass and probably overdue reseeding but i was hoping to delay for one more year but now am not so sure:(
