Am currently receiving a weekly payment from CWO as I have applied for disability allowance, which was denied and I have an appeal in. I was advised to collect at the Post Office from Thursday onwards to Saturday.
As I live several miles away, I try to make one trip a week to the villlage to do my shopping, credit union etc.

Last week I collected or tried to on Thursday morning. No payment, so off
to CWO who, in my area is only Thursday from 9:30-12:00. CWO reinstated payment, was not aware I had appealed the DA decision. Was asked to drop off letter confirming appeal, which was duly done on the following Tuesday and was assured all would be right for the following week.

Yesterday, I went to collect in the afternoon and no payment. Yet its too late to see CWO. Rang about 10 different numbers and was finally told you can only see the CWO at the appointed time which would be next week.

Should there be some sort of contact/help available for situations like this? I realise the CWO's cant be everywhere at once but.............
