hi guys i've a Galaxy S and have a 32gb external sd card which i wanted to but all my music on and let teh 16gb internal memory free.

i transfered a bunch of music onto it but the music player doesn't see it or if i navigate to it on the phone it tells me teh file type is not recognised even though its mp3 and teh same files played when stored on the internal memory.

anyone have any issues with this, tried mort player too and that played nothing from the sd card even though it listed the files

was off ebay alright but shows up on the phone as being 32gig and even if i only put an album on it at the moment i have one album on it and the media player only plays 1 song and says the rest "cannot recognise this format". same files will play if stored on the internal memory. its a Kingston card

Download an app called sdrescan. It will find your music files and re-register your music in the media database

    Sorry to hear about that.
    Try the following site.
Got one of them and no problems in the Galaxy S.
