F*ck me and overpay us ha ha...Absolute genious

Genius it ain't, about the level of wit you would expect from Mcsavage, nothing about it made me even smile.
At least he is easier to ignore on TV than his god awful street "show"

It is the funniest show I have seen on RTE for years.

Each to his own I suppose, maybe his street show has biased me against him forever. It's possible to be funny without having to humiliate people going about their daily business.

Okay, laying all personal hatred of McSavage aside, and trying to look at his schtick objectively- he's a crap actor off the bat. That whole rap thing, lacked proper punctuation of the punch lines and just came off like a damp squib.
He has one or two funny moments, but overall, his comedy is just not funny at all.
In terms of satire, satire should be caustic and really fuck people off. Just look at the trouble Chris Morris got in for, well, his entire career. That's the reaction satire should envoke.
McSavage comes across at times like no more than a mean spirited bully who can certainly dish out the abuse at people he knows wont hit back. But when they do, he acts like a spoiled child flinging his toys from his pram. As evidenced by his phone message to the owner of the Sugar Club. Or any number of videos where members of the public do stand up to him.

Also, he's related to Tubridy and is a cunt.

But but but but but... I only used it as a comparison of how satire is done properly.

Having a different opinion to someone is not the same as being a killbuzz,

If I was a killbuzz I would drone on endlessly at:

    The fact he isn't witty.
The fact that he goes after every unoriginal stereotypes.
The fact his song was laboured and seemed hard work for him to drag rhymes out of it.
The fact he gets laughs out of easy targets in his audiences
    He mistakes obnoxious for funny

    etc
