mild springs vs coilovers

Was thinking about buying a particular '06 B6 passat- it's a beautiful example, a great colour from a good source at a good price but it's a basic model.

It's on respectable enough 16s but I was thinking about picking it up and lowering it to make it look more the part. Maybe later I could locate some nice alloys.

I've been finding some suspiciously cheap coilover kits online. I'd love to retain the ride quality as much as possible so I'm wondering if I'm better off with some premium quality 30mm springs.

i think when your lowering, your sacrificing comfort wither way.

try the springs first maybe as they are a fraction of the price of coilovers, and if your still happy with the comfort then move on to coilovers.

    felt spec :)
