I do a lot of motorway driving and my avensis has started to loose revs as I move up the gears. Im also noticing that Im not get as much speed out of it as normal any suggestions?

Sounds like the clutch on the way out.

I would have thought a slipping clutch would cause you to gain revs without the benefit of speed.

If you're down on power, check the simple things first, air filter, spark plugs. Sometimes, a fresh set of plugs and air filter can do wonders for a car
