What exactly do you want to know?

I was asking for more specific questions smart arse :P

Anyway i've answered all the OP's question through PM.

If anyone else wants to know about business and languages, i'll answer any questions here or PM. Probably be better to answer them here for everyones benefit.

What's the workload like for the languages stream? and just what are your general thoughts on the course itself as a whole?
    thanks

In 1st year the workload is fine. For business, throughout the year, we had 4 projects (1 presentation, 3 essays).

For languages you mostly focus on french/german/spanish/italian culture and grammar. French grammar can be quite tough, but nothing a bit of study can't fix!

In second year the workload increases a good bit. Right now i have a 3000 word essay, 1000 word essay, 2000 word essay, another 2000 word essay and 2 presentations due by the end of march! Most of them are done in groups of 3 so once you keep on top of things its ok. Before Christmas we did a 1000, 2000, and 3000 word essay. So there's a lot of assignments in 2nd year!

For languages, translations take up a good bit of your time. Theres also a business french class and a class that prepares you for your year abroad.

We also do fairly long days, compared to some other courses.

2nd year timetable for me now is:

    Mon: 10-6 (Or 10-8 for some:eek:)
    Tue: 3-6 (was 11-6 in 1st semester)
    Wed: 12-5 (was 12-7 in 1st semester)
    Thurs: 9-6

I like the course overall. Lecturers are brilliant and very helpful. The option to do a 2nd language is great!
