Media streamer similar to apple tv?

    I have an applle tv in one room and am looking to get one for tv in main room,or something similar,if available.
    Not sure wheater a non apple product would stream itunes but thatone of the things id be looking at,plus the ability to stream video.
    Any suggestions?
