By saing insured properly, they're probably using the third party extension, or they're under Mammy's policy (and there's a lot that lie about this I've found, saying it was their own policy)...or they're not insured properly at all. I'm nearly 24 and I struggle to get quotes for my DC2. I had a policy with Quinn and changed my car but I really wouldn't recommend it for you. You're 17 and you will not be able to get a decent price for that car. If you do get a policy with Quinn and try change I'd be suprised if it's under 4-5k. Not worth it IMO

Grin and bear it, we all had to

Oh and by EP82 I assume you mean a GT Starlet?

Why does it have to be Quinn? Get the phonebook out and ring around everywhere. I got quoted €3,500 on my first year but shopped around and got it for €2,300
