I have an iPhone 3g with firmware version 4.2.1 and baseband version 06.15.00 which I've successfully jailbroken via redsn0w.

I want to now download ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock the phone, however the phone doesn't seem to be able to pick up any wifi networks, even though it is only a few inches away from my router. I have another phone on me which can connect to it fine, so I think it may be an issue with the iphone only, possibly something to do with the jailbreak.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this wifi issue? I've already tried resetting the network settings, which didn't help.

Same thing happened to me, in the end I had to restore it, no signal or wi-fi, I did the jailbreak again after the restore and kept a log of every jailbreak app/tweak I installed so I could troubleshoot better incase the same thing happened again.
