Mark Little (formally of RTE Primetime) is always going on about how new media will shape politics and make things more transparent. After reading a thread about what questions people will ask canvassers at the door the following caught my attention

What could be interesting is asking them "do you mind if I record our converstation"....

With many events (social, tragic, private and impromptu) being caught on tape or camera phone and made available to all (recent e.g. Andy Gray and Cpt Owen Honors) I think it'd be interesting to video phone FF canvassers being demolished at the doors, decimated by the anger their party has poured over Ireland and for all of these clips to be uploaded to YouTube for all to see.

It would dispel (or maybe not) what I believe and hope to be a myth that FF are getting an ok reception at the doors and the public anger is contrasted by private loyal support for FF. I think it would be cathartic For the country. No violence or happy slaps, just videos of them being rejected and vilified.

Some canvassers should be ashamed of what they are supporting
