HTC Wireless Problem

    Hi guys,

I tried contacting HTC but it didn't really solve my issue.

When I'm at home my phone says I'm connected to the wifi. But when I try to load a webpage I can't. I just freezes while loading and then after a while I get the usual error message when you aren't connected.

Then all I have to do is disconnect and then re-connect to the wireless network and then it works fine. Doesn't make any sense to me. It's really time consuming tho having to do this every time,

Can anyone help me on this please? Thanks a lot

Sounds like an issue with your wireless router to me.
What make and model is it?

I get the same issue on my wifi at home but it works fine all day on my work wifi. My guess is that it's down to the wireless router, some setting in there. It seems to only happen when the phone goes into standby too....

Thanks a lot for the speedy replies. Ya, actually your man from HTC was saying the same thing. I will try change some settings on the router and see if that helps.

He mentioned something about changing the band the router uses to either B or G

Try unplugging your router for about a minute as well, plug it in and leave it reboot.
