I am employed by a company in Northern Ireland and I am currently having a debate with one of the staff regarding holiday entitlement. When is a person classified part time and and what are the entitlements of a person who is part time to holidays?

wrong forum.. try work and jobs.

Holiday pay is usually around 8% of the employees total pay in a year.

If someone works a 5 day week and gets 20 days annual leave, a person who works one day a week will only get 4 days annual leave in a year.

If they work 3 hours a day and 1 day a week, they will be entitled to 3 hours annual leave 4 times a year.
