    Hey guys

I was just wondering is there an established method to securing a summer internship with a big law firm In Ireland? It can be paid or unpaid.I'm a second year law student and I really want to do a 'placement' this summer so I can add a few notches to the bedpost that is my c.v.Do the big 5 have a pipeline set up whereby you apply or is it just a case of getting on the phone and sending calls out?

Im kinda on the fence between doing a masters in corporate law after my undergrad and then trying to to switch over into investment banking so I was looking at summer internships in GS in london but I cant afford to spend the summer over there this year so I though I might as well do something productive.:)

Thanks in advance guys and for reading through that rambling mess.Sleep deprivation and coffee make jack a dull boy:rolleyes:

Without sounding rude, a quick search any of the firms websites could easily find you their application systems and summer internship programme details You may hurry though. the deadline is coming up for quite a few!

They all have an application system, involving a form and if succesful interviews. Its similar to the process for appl for tainee contracts. Look on their websites, but do be aware of the deadlines!
Im not sure about all of them but I know A&L pay a decent bit.
