Moving from LPG to Oil?

I have recently moved into a new home. The house is costing me €26 / Day on heating and domestic hot water:( .
The house has 2 LPG bas boilers with designed efficiencies of 73%. They are: a 29 kw output boiler for space and hot water ( there's a 300l tank) and a 23kw output boiler for space heating upstairs.
Natural gas is not available and the rads are not low temp rads so a heat pump is not a suitable option I expect?
What would you say to my idea of swapping oil. Two new high efficiency boilers and a new tank in the garden. Maybe I could use one large boiler? How much would such a system cost including installation and would it save me a lot? Would a plumber install this or is specialist boiler installation engineer required?

    Thanks

    That's a lot of gas!
Would it not be better first to find out and fix where your house is loosing the heat and then decide if you need to replace your boiler(s)?

I have arranged to get the walls pumped and attic done but still i think the old boilers need to go as they are so inefficient.

    hi
You can use 1 50 kw boiler which would be big enough, wolf, valiant(both are available in lpg) are the best in these sizes not much more in price either but their are the rolls royce of gas boilers, oil would be firebird or grant again 1 boiler is more efficent than 2:):)
In 300 lt cylinder you could think about solar panels, I know solar panels dont have the best rep on here but if they're not installed properly, they can be dangerous, i swear by them. Ive linked them into heating systems, commercial jobs(b&bs guest houses etc) and the customers swear by them and so do I, one of the best renewable energys out there.
Any questions ill happly answer them

You could also go for another Rolls Royce, a Viessmann Vitodens200. There is a light commercial version that would match the output you need.
