Older LGBT posters?

Just wondering are there any over 40s here? Whats happening in this section of our community?

It maybe just me but I haven't noticed any posts relating to the more mature LGBT poster

An over 40 lgbt here. I look in this section every now and then. Not so many obviously over 40s among the posters but it would be nice to see some more and read more related posts. Some day maybe. Not sure about having an over 40s sub section though. That might feel like marginalisation!

Boards LGBT group just needs alittle bit more visiblity to attract the older poster or even more posters for that matter. Sadly I wouldn't be able to direct ye to any other online forums here in Ireland.

I'm 28 and even that makes me feel old here sometimes.

And then I go out to the G and then I feel REALLY old. :eek:

But yes, I definately would like to see more visibility from older posters and in general, across the community.

41 - though that isn't necessarily all that old in the trans community - there are a lot of trans people that take this long to come to terms with their gender

51 - for a few more months anyway which makes me feel very very ancient at times.
I enjoy reading the posts here but sometimes find it a little sad that people are still having some of the same worries, fears and insecurities that I had in my teens.
I think its great to have a mix of ages and experiences - it's 2 way traffic.
