I have a 7MB line and works at approx. 6.1MB according to line tests. Never had an issue with daily update of my Podcasts but in the last few days it has been brutal slow. 8.2MB is taking 10mins!!!
Anyone else having the same issues?
Anything I can change to speed it up?

My Apps took forever to update on Monday and that's with a 20 Mb connection. Was fine last night.

I also noticed at the weekend when I was doing my weekly app and podcast update that they where very slow downloading, particulary the big podcasts 60+med was listing as taking 3 hours on an 8meg connection.

The speed of your broadband only tells you what you can get between you and your ISP. It doesn't tell you anything about what's happening on the rest of the Internet. Your download speed will be determined by the slowest link between you and the file you're downloading. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

If you're having problems downloading podcasts and iTunes content, then you likely have a general issue with your connection somewhere along the line. Podcasts aren't served off Apple's iTunes CDN, they come straight from the podcaster's source.
