Iphone 3gs Charging Problem

I have an Iphone 3gs, i uses one of them in car transmitters to play my music through the radio while i driving, the transmitter i have is a charger too. I plugs in the Iphone to it and starts to charge it but after a few minutes it stops and this message comes on the screen: charging-not-supported-with-this-accessory.…
