    so guys, are the mocks really as bad as people say they are?
    im kinda scared, just 'cos we havent got most courses finished... but are the exams actually harder than the j.c, or is it just a pre-concieved thing? :S

    (Generally) No-one has the courses finished when the mocks come around.

    The mocks purely exist to scare people into reality.

    Gives you a feel for state examinations and gives great motivation.

    I only failed Hon Irish by 3% of something and everything else was grand.

    I got 93% in Hon Geo mocks and in the actual JC I got a C. :P

    Normally, they are marked the same/slightly harder. Many people say it's harder because they haven't studied and by the time the JC comes around you'll be well practised and you will feel the actual JC is easier.

    Don't worry about them.

    Also, it's only the JC! The JC helps you pick your LC subjects as well as practising state examinations, motivation, etc.

    You will learn from your mistakes and you will become unstoppable!

    Don't worry about them. In my opinion, they aren't a fair reflection of what you're going to get in the junior certificate, they're merely a run through - think of it as practicing your time keeping in the exams, good luck and just do your best. :D

    I don't know how people couldn't have finished their courses yet. I'm currently doing my mocks and I have my course done in every subject, some since December.

    are u serious?? we are nowhere near finished some of ours. :confused:
