Was down at my local mechanic earlier to get a front dipped bulb in.
All went well till he noticed that the V-shaped locking clip to hold the back cover on the light unit was gone!

We checked all around the engine bay and even took off the bellypan but to no avail.

So to cut a short story short :) I need a replacement clip asap.

After a fruitless search I cant seem to find anywhere on t'internet to order one so I'm hoping someone out there might know a useful site.

Online order and delivery would suit me better as due to work getting to a motor factors or even audi garage would be awkward over the next few days.

It's for an '04 A4 if that helps any bit.

    I appreciate any help given.

Jesus I don't think you can buy them seperate. someone correct me if im wrong. I think you'll have to buy the cover as well at least! Try a scrap yard or use trusty cable ties.

dont see a part number on vagcat for the clip.. must come as part of the light unit.. try your local scrap yard.. you should get one out of a broken light unit

Unfortunately because of the unusual layout a tie is useless....we tried :)

It does seem that scrap yard is the way to go.

I just thought that every other type of clip seems to be available online but it seems just not these wee v shaped ones! Typical:rolleyes:
