Im seller on ebay for a few years now has any one had any good experiences with other online auctions .

ebay has slowed down a bit now and the fees are so high , plus they only deal with paypal witch can be hard to work with

This issue continues to rear its head but in truth there is no alternative to eBay whether you're buying or selling. It has critical mass and there's no escaping that fact. I find eBay difficult to deal with and no longer do that much business on it anymore. :(

Agreed... I've stopped listing... Made a few sales on www.donedeal.ie (€3 per listing) but you're restricted to an Irish market...

And you're restricted by the number of people who regularly use Done Deal rather than Buy & Sell/Gumtree/Adverts.ie/Craigslists/eBay/etc. I mean, I drop on Done Deal a couple of times a month whereas, even though I don't do much on eBay anymore, I still check my watching lists daily and have numerous email alerts when something I'm looking for becomes available.

Very unlikely. Ebay may be taken over but a serious new kid on the block - I think not. Incidentally, both your links are dead.

In terms of online sites, really and truly ebay is the monster of all sites. There are some up and coming sites but if ebay is a whale, these sites are only tiddlers, and have been for a number of years, they don't seem to be able to catch up with ebay at all!

Ebay sorta have everyone by the short and curleys and use that to their advantage, a rip off I know, as they do nothing but put their fees up.
