Rent Relief for "co-habiting couple"

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help, im finding it hard to get the right info!! Im living with my girlfriend and we are paying 800e p/m rent(400 each). In regards to claiming rent relief, can we both make separate claims and what would be the max refund we would receive?? If anyone has done this before some advice would be great!!

    I am on welfare at the moment, have been since october. My gf is still working tho!!

    Only your girl friend would get the rent relief for this your, when you return to work you can update your credits to include rent relief.
