    Hi,
I have a HTC Desire running 2.2. RTE Player in general runs fine but I can not get live TV to run. Whenever I try it tells me that it could not connect to server. I thought it was flash based too - perhaps its not a flash problem. Does it work for anyone?
    Thanks

Hmmm. Not a flash issue so. Searched the "Can not connect to server" issue and it seems that for others who say the the error when trying to access it from a PC the issue eventualy went away. It has been like this for me since I bought the phone a month ago.

It works for me on Desire. Do you have Flash Player installed?

    I'm just using stock browser.
I had flash player installed (RTE Player did work for me) but did an update there and it seems to have done the trick.
    Great. Thanks.

I think RTE say that some mobile networks block the protocol they use. It won't work for me either with Desire running stock Froyo on Meteor.

    What network are you on?

I just thought I'd mention that you can use the RTE Player URL for the Playstation 3 on the Desire HD. (Sorry I don't have it to hand. My DHD is gone for repair.) The interface is ideal for touch screen with large buttons and reduced need for scrolling.
