Trainee Wages

Pretty general question here and I'm sure there are disparities between different firms and different size firms...but I'm just wondering how much a trainee can expect to be paid during his/her apprenticeship. I believe the solicitors acts were recently amended to allow the min. wage to be paid- but is this a common level of remuneration??

In a small to medium firm you'd probably be lucky to get minimum wage. The top firms pay more, cant remember what it is but its pretty decent.

Any current trainees want to chime in?
