    Hi All,

I hope someone can help here ...

I had a Nano and this was the device linked to my PC. I just got an ITouch and I seem to have transfered everything but the only thing is that some of the compilations I had on the Nano have transfered onto the Itouch but all the songs are now individual albums - so on the "greatest hits of xyz" with 20 tracks its showing on the Itouch as 20 separate albums ...

I know it's only a small matter but does anyone know if or how I fix this cause it's a bit annoying ..

    Thansk in advance
    A

    ITouch
    iPod Touch.

Open iTunes, select the 20 tracks, right click, select "get info", ensure the "compilation" option is selected.

The way I'm used to doing it with compilations from CD: each track's Info (MP3 tag) has its individual Artist name as you'd expect, but all tracks in the compilation should have the same Album Artist. It might be "Various Artists", or "Record Company" - basically, whoever put together the compilation.

I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music.
