    Hi There

Most counsellors will facilitate evening appointments. I know there are counsellors that work out of the Parish Centre. They have cards at reception if you wanted to go in and take some and then give them a ring. I would just make sure they are accredited by either IACP or IAHIP.

Alternatively you could try both the IACP and IAHIP websites and locate a counsellor / psychotherapist in your area.

    IACP - http://www.irish-counselling.ie/
    IAHIP - http://www.iahip.com/abook2/index.php

I know it's not Portlaoise but I can personally recommend Nora Daly in Tullamore. She is a fantastic counsellor and is IAHIP accredited. Her number can be found on the IAHIP website.

Best of luck with it :)
