Price For Altenator and Thermostat Peugeot 306

    Well lads,

    Just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how much would i be looking at to replace altenator and thermostat on a 2000 peugeot 306.

    Any help is apreciated.

    It depends where you get it done, dealer or independent?

    At an Indy the thermo-stat would be 20 Euro, reconditioned alternator would be about 80 Euro. Say 100 Euro for labour, new fan belt and coolant.

    Who told you the alternator & stat were gone & what was wrong with paying them to do the job?
