Carlow Golf Club drops Entrance Fee

    I see Carlow Golf Club has dropped its entrance fee at the moment....to join now you just pay 826 euro (includes bar and restaurant levies as well!!)......seems like great value.

    ... for the rest of this year and then to continue as a member you have to go through the 'normal' system it seems.

    I believe they have done this to try and attract members from Kilkea who have also had offers made to them from other clubs in the area

    yeah kilkea has gone bust so its member are in limbo, Carlow being a much better course would be great for them but the offer is only a year and they will have to go through the entrance process in 2012. 5k i think
