Buying a HD from CPW

    Quick question.

Looking to jump ship from 3 to Vodafone and get another Desire HD.

I've heard that the HD's from Vodafone themselves may have some branding which eats the battery.

Does anyone know if there is branding on any phones bought from CPW but on a Vodafone contract?

My dhd is Vodafone and not a sniff of branding on it.

Mine was branded. Basically it was a logo on boot and a small banner in the music player. Barely noticeable and easily sorted with a goldcard. I can't say honestly if it had any effect on battery life.

My DHD is Vodafone (from CPW) and there is a small bit of branding on some web pages in the browser (which can be turned off by removing the proxy). No branding in the operating system or boot up.
