Mahan (50's) Villegas (80's) Snedeker (95's) & Stewart Cink (130's) for me this week ;)

On the European Tour I'm going with Manassero (26's) Lynn (85's) & Martin (110's)

    Good luck dude :P

I think backing woods at 11/4 is silly why not play in running and see how he is driving teh ball first..buch better value in the tourny that tiger.

that's easy for you to say,i think even the op reckons he's not great value but he's only sticking a tenner on,he's probably not an online gambler so not always easy to play in running,
around this course come Sunday you might have gladly taken 11/4

Liked the look of Villegas at 80's but sadly only available at them prices on betfair. Gone for Kim at 45/1.

Also going with Manassero at 22/1.

    buck off!

In all seriousness its just my opinion i dont think its value but then its all relative and if he romps home happy days for the OP, but i would be backing dustin johnson ew 1,2,3,4,5 @ 16's or even having a little bet on Ben curtis ew @ 150/1.

Just think its not great value on woodsy if your playing small. He is due one though.

On a side note im going for Estanislao Goya @ 80/1 in the volvo he played some classy golf last week and the 65 on saturday was mipressive.

Just want opinions on this, but what do you lads think of a Mega Golf thread that consists of both the European and US PGA Tour event betting?

    __

Manassero, Villegas and D Johnson for me this week.

Would probably prefer to keep it a weekly thread rather than one big one...easier to filter through all teh dofferent posts etc.

Yep! i get what your saying, but if he then goes and starts killing it on the the course, that 11/4 will quickly turn to 1/4 or something along those lines. id be happy with the small win, fingers crossed.:)

Yeah hb, i do actually use the boylesports account for the past few months. I would usually back a golfer before the start of the tourn, and if he sinks over the thursday or friday, id back someone else on the betting in running.:)

Anybody think laying Tiger woods for a top 5 spot on betfair at 1.94 is a good idea?

    I don't think that's a good idea.

He's pretty difficult to back for a win giving that no one really knows how he will perform. If you take his stats in this event into consideration then it's a pretty daft bet to lay him for a top 5 finish.

His average score is 68.33 and 38 of his 43 rounds have been under par. He has only once finished outside the top 5.

If things go wrong then they could go horribly wrong so therefore if you intend to lay him why not do so for a top 10 finish where you can make extra money?

It's likely that the 1st round leader will come from the North Course and will be an early starter. These few take the eye at nice odds

    Bill Haas 36's
Carl Pettersson 65's (opening round 66 in 05)
    Charley Hoffman 55's ( opening round 66 in 06)
Charlie Wi 80's (opening round 63 in 07)

    I'm hoping to get €5 on each of them at 40's, 75's, 75's & 110's.

    Good luck :)

    Anyone have any decent bets?
Watney left it too little too late for me but Dustin Johnson covered a little bit.
