    Does a salary of 45k plus a 10k car allowance roughly equate to a salary of 55k when taxes have been taken into account?

    In what way is the car allowance given? Just to be clear is it included in your monthly pay or do you submit documentation and get refunded for costs? just some people use words like allowance loosely
