Looking for watermarking tool

Hi,
I want to add watermarks to my photos for my website.
Nothing in-your-face, just something simple that doesn't distract too much.
I have CS 5 and Lightroom 3 but haven't used them yet. Picass 3 has a simple watermarking tool but it's no good.

Ideally I'd like to be able to batch watermark as well.

Any suggestions for where I can get a tool/software/programme to do the job? Ideally free or can CS5/LIghtroom3 do it? What's the easiest, quickest way?

Lightroom 3 has built in watermarking.

I use it on my images.

CS5 and Lightroom together would probably be the best option. You can design a cool looking sig/watermark in CS5, then import into Lightroom, which can then apply it automatically to images on export.

I'm sure Google/YouTube would provide plenty of tutorials for how to achieve this.

+1 Lightroom 3 is great and very easy to use.

There's a program out there called "Fast Watermark". Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Personally, I have (or had, before I reformatted my PC) Irfanview. Also have Photoshop CS5 and Paint.net. Found them all impossible (well... Maybe they're good, but I wasn't arsed learning how to do it using a series of complicated menus).

I recommend Fast Watermark.

Just be sure you make copies of the images before you use it. It watermarks exctly what you select, it doesn't make copies. So if you have a folder called "Phoenix Park", then make a new folder called "Phoneix Park Watermarked" or something like that, and then copy/paste all the photos into that folder. Otherwise you'll have ruined your photos. Always make backups.

Or just do it in Lightroom, and apply the watermark on export of the image. That way you still have the original.

You can create a png image in PS, and then use that in Lightroom, under the Watermark section. You can then use that watermark for any exports you want.
