Avensis CO2 emissions?

Was thinking of buying an Avensis d4d T2 5DR TOURER diesel estate in UK. When I look up the revenues VRT calculator it says the emissions are 136 and VRT rate is 16% which is fine. The thing is all other sites where I looked up the car specs give co2 as 149. I don't want to buy the car if I have to pay the higher VRT and then higher road tax.

    New or old model?
    Year?
    5 or 6 speed?
    2.0 or 2.2?

    Link to ad if possible.

All Diesels from mid 06 are 6 speed.
    Make sure It's a D-4D and not A D-4 which is petrol.

Stat code I got is 40586836.

On calculator you select 1998cc not 1995cc
    Vrt is 16%

Verify with seller, emissions is listed on the v5 form and can be checked on the likes of motorcheck

Vrt calculator is wrong. I remember back in 08 an avensis wasn't €150 tax. It was €290 meaning band c not b.

You won't get away with it either, figure will be on uk reg cert.

I'm guessing figure is for current model

Thanks for reply. The seller and all other sources say co2 is 149and vrt would be 20% . But revenues online calculator say 16%. I guess I'll have to clarify it on the phone with them.

No point, you're not gonna win this one.
Pure and simple a mistake on their system which won't matter a jot once you actually bring it to nct crowd.

Emissions on estate have to be higher than saloon, and saloon is band C.

Would seriously go to England and buy this on the strength of that online calculator which doesn't quote hp, number of gears, doesn't cross check with dvla records?

This would turn into another vrt dispute thread.
