I signed on today in dun laoghaire for job seekers allowance and the lady behind the glass said to sign on next on the 19th of February-is this correct? surely she meant the 22nd of February?

You sign for both JSB & JSA.
OP I doubt they will be signing on a Saturday, so it should be 22nd February. As lisa said though your signing day is on the bottom of the receipt you get with your payment at the Post Office.

Signing day is normally 4 weeks from the last day you signed. In your case that should be 22nd February. Person signing you just made a mistake.

I signed on in Dun Laoghaire today and was told the next sign on day was April 20th. There were signs up saying this was because of proposed building work.

Maybe give them a call to confirm your signing day.
