    Hi Guys,

I'm new to apache and Im having problems with ,what I hope is, something simple.

I need localhost to point to "http://localhost\/" rather than the usual "http://localhost/".

    Any help, much appreciated.

    Regards
    Ross

Why would you need to do this? The HTTP uri schema uses the forward slash "/" and you should not be using the back slash "\" at all

Well the third party website I was deploying defaults its root to "http://localhost\/"

I've managed to change the config file for the site to use the regular root.

    Cheers
