What type and what colours? A lot of airsoft stores will stock Krylon's Camouflage range, or SEAirsoft.net tend to stock Begadi's answer to Krylon paint.

If you have access to spraying equipment you can pick up some good colours for cheap enough in the likes of B&Q etc

Yeah MIA do various colours of Krylon spray. Probably your neck of the woods

If the paint is flaking/chipping, and you want to paint it well/right, you're going to have to do some serious preparation on it - take off all of the old paint, prep the body, use a primer, and then apply a couple of coats. Not to mention that you'll have to completely strip the gun to avoid getting paint where paint is not meant to go.

You probably are aware of this already, but I just said I'd post in case you weren't.

The lads down in QAS (they have a thread in Retailers Section) do paint jobs for a fee, so if you don't feel up to the work load, drop them a line!

Krylon paint is quite expensive for what its meant to do, it's just super flat paint.

Go to any shop like woodies / BNQ etc and get some garden furniture paint (make sure its mat, NOT gloss).

I painted my G36c OD / Brown / Tan / Black tiger stripe and it came out looking insane, it's not shiny at all and it looks beastly

I completely dis assembled my gun, what you need to do is mask off (yes with masking tape) all the bits you don't want painted such as fire selector, screws, screw holes, anything that moves, your mag well.

If you decide to disassemble your gun and paint it that way make sure you dont paint of of the parts that slide together, if you do the gun will be very hard to get back together, even with a like layer of paint.

I attached an image of my gun for you to have a look at :) (yes show boating hehe)

If you want a pattern like mine its quite easy, just print off a stencil from the internet and cut it out with a hobby blade, drape if over the gun and spray away.

IMPORTANT!!!: make sure you hold the spray can a good distance from the gun and spray the coats LIGHTYLY, if you cake it on it will run and drip and be very messy looking

If yours goes well, there might just be a few pictures of a gold mini uzi up soon :D

The most effective, and aesthetically pleasing way, would be to strip the gun entirely. It will allow you to A) paint only what needs painting, B) Protect what needs protecting (gearbox and other valuables where paint shouldn't be), C) give you more room to work in order to prepare the piece for painting.

just the one coat is enough, it doesn't need to be caked on though.

And if you don't wanna wait till the next day to spray the second colour, use a hair dryer to dry it

ah yeah i may this do that as the safety switch is badly marked and that would look bad if the gun was fine than silver were the tape was :pac:
love uzi ah that sounds sweet
sure put pics up when its all done :)

Sure lob it on job lol but you dont really need primer, it ads way too much of a layer when you paint the camo

nahh he left the metal on the body alone, so all the trademarks are still there so if he decides to sell it he just needs to swap the handgaurd and stock out
