Litigation over ADR

Hi, I am preparing for an exam in 'Law & dispute resolution' and one of the examinable areas is the why a person would chose litigation dispite the advantages of ADR methods. So basically, I need to discuss the advantages of going to court such as publicity, vindication, etc. I'm having trouble finding materials online which discuss this. Just wondering if anybody has any links to articles or other material online that discusses the basic advantages of formal litigation?

    Thanks
