    Hey,

Does anyone know what buses go to/from St. James Hospital? From Westmoreland St, Fleet St, D'olier St, O'Connell St or anywhere along Rathmines main road (Upper/Lower Rathmines road).

I have looked on Dublin Bus website, but all I am getting is the 78a, which goes to Cherry Orchard Hospital not St. James.

    Thanks for any help.

123 bus which stops along o'Connell street, D'olier Street or Dame street.

I don't think there is any bus that goes directly from Rathmines.

Best to get the Luas from Abbey Street or Jervis, Bus as follows, 51b/c or 78a from Aston Quay or 123 from O'Connell Street,Luas is very fast up to the hospital.6 stops from Abbey,5 from Jervis.

the 51b and 51c and 78a stop outside the main hospital entrance on Jame's street and the 123 drives through the hospital grounds, the red line Luas also stops in the hospital grounds.

Luas would be the quickest, best option.
    Buses:
51B/C from Hawkins Street and which stops on Dame Street, both stop right in front of the Hospital on James Street.

78A from Aston Quay also stops at the same stop as the 51B/C on James Street.

The 123 which stops on O'Connell Street/D'olier St/Dame St actually goes through the grounds of the hospital and stops at various stops .

If coming from Rathmines, you can change at Dame Street to the 123. Get off at Suffolk Street (14, 15, 74 128) or Dame Street (65, 83)

The 19 is your best option from Rathmines. It stops at Kellys Corner/ South Circular Road (5/10 min walk from Rathmines) and beside James Hospital's Rialto gate.
