Photography Studio in Dublin around the late 19th or early 20th century? Help??

Hey guys! Need a little help in dating an old photo album I came across at my grandparents house. The studio was called T. Whittaker Photographer and the address was 87 Grafton Street, Dublin. I know this because the photographers stamp was on the back of most of the photos. The photos are portraits and the clothing appears to be from the Victorian period, but I could be wrong and the photos are all sepia. Don't really have any more information to give apart from that... Anyone have any ideas on how I might go about finding the dates the studio would have been in business? Thanks in advance!

Upstairs in Pearse St. library has a collection of Thom's directories (and others) covering from about 1801 to date. You could look in them.
