I see alot of replica iphone4 and ipads for sale on the likes of donedeal.ie, they say they work just the same and they are half the price or less. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with them, I know there is no warrenty or come backs but other than that? I wouldn't like to buy one that someone is pawning off as a genuine but the ones that actually admit that they are replicas I don't see the problem? Or are they just bad ideas and problems...

Replica in this case just means it looks fairly similar to the iPhone/iPad from the outside. they don't run iOS, they don't run the same apps, so the similarity is just cosmetic.

If all you care about is what the device looks like when it's switched off, then they're fine. If you actually care about using it, then you're certainly not getting anything that could be considered a replica in any meaningful sense.

But at least they're up front about it, so you know what you're getting (and what you're missing) from the get go.

Sure we would all be buying them if they did exactly what the iphone does
