After returning to college recently after a night out you could cut the awkwardness with a knife, half of the class basically used the night out to come on to the other half (including me). Now a few people arent talking to each other. Personally I dont think anyone should act akward just laugh it off whats everyone elses view and whats been your most akward return to work college after a night out you had ?

I agree with OP. I've have a few bad ones too, I'm not saying though, really embarrassing

There's bound to be a great number of people who've slept with a colleague.

That's rather awkward. It's not so bad when you fancy them but the drink fuelled shags are just a nuisance

Easier said than done sometimes and there must be very few people who haven't done it at some point

A guy I worked with projectile vomited over two of the managers and a staff member.

While the staff member washed the puke out of her watch and engagement ring, one of the managers put him in a taxi and he got sick all over that manager again.

This was at about nine pm only.

He was pretty embarrassed on Monday morning I tells ya.

A Guy I worked with necked a litre bottle of wine at a christmas party.

The turkey and ham looked well on the table after he projectile vomited it on to his table. He was put into a taxi home to Bray from Ballsbridge

Why shouldn't you be suitably embarrassed by what you've done under the influence?

This whole, "Ah shure, it doesn't count/matter, I was full as a fat tick" thing pisses me off. Take some responsibility for your actions.

Have I done stupid things when I was pissed? Yes. D'ya know who did them? Me. Not the vodka. Not the beer. Me.

When I was 14 I came in to work one morning stinking of drink and hungover to bits. Luckily my boss was cool and just spent the rest of the day laughing at me.

Normal enough by most people's standards, but not something you'd do when you're 14.

A few months back, about October, I went to a party with people from school. Literally couldn't remember a thing the next day.

Went to school on the Monday and got told everything - I bought a crate of something or another and a girl had said there was no way I could finish it - but I proved her wrong, and drank far more :o I'd got in to a bit of a fight with a lad who was being racist about the Irish, he being half-Polish, I gave as good as I got. Apparently ended up being floored by him, and he threw a can off my head (to which I screamed "it's raining!!!"). Got sick all over the girl's garden, repeatedly put porn on her computer, perved on some girl, kept stealing slices of bread and fell asleep on the patio.

    Awkward.
    Ah well

Bull on as if nothing happened. A few years ago, i was out one night in a club and met my old boss's daughter, ended up chatting to her for awhile, had a few drinks together and ended up getting off with her that night. On the monday morning back at work we just had a bit of a chat if front of other workers about the night out. The 2 of us never mentioned anything about getting off with each other,we just went on as if nothing happened and that we just met each other on the night out.

Irresponsible drinking. If the wine came in a litre bottle it was probably awful stuff! :pac: Blame the wine in this case.

    Christ, loosen up Grandpa.

Loosen up? Because I told you to have a bit of personal responsibility?

    Or does this sound better?

I was out at the weekend, drank a skipload of Buckfast before I went out, puked in the taxi on the way to the club, pulled my bosses (underage) daughter, we went home, I think I gave her chlamydia, and puked on her tit.

Man, is my face going to be red today!*

*this is a complete fabrication, just incase anyone is stupid enough to read it wrong. And with the way AH has been going, I wouldn't be surprised.

    Killing your boss...

That following Monday when co-workers are asking where they are don't scream "I don't know, I don't want to talk about this, this let's talk about something else, just get off my back man, lovely weather out isn't it?.........so shut up!!"

Look the whole flirting/snogging/shagging a colleague or classmate is going to happen and is nothing to be all redfaced about. Next day just laugh it off and try to put the other person at ease. Be grown up about it.

Say something like "So, darlin' when do we get plastered and suck the face off each other again? Only joking. We were locked and it was fun but let's not make it all awkward between us, yeah?"

You haven't really let yourself down. It's the puking on the manager or worse giving some colleague a piece of your mind in front of everyone when you're trashed. There's no recovery from something like that. People will just think you are a nasty cnut.

    Me: "Huh?"

Barmen: "That stunning blonde who was all over you last night!! She was smokin'. Big boobs and the nicest ass in the world. At one stage she was standing facing the bar and you were behind her with your hands down the front of her jeans, you lucky bastard!"

Me: "I was in here last night?"
