if you stay sober, or even just drink what your comfortable with you can still enjoy yourself, laughing at others. Often just a cheery atmosphere helps you relax same way a drink would let you. They might appreciate having someone around to make sure nothing goes wrong.

I have had many many nights out/ weekends away with the lads and I dont drink. Its only a issue if you decide it is. Relax have the craic and enjoy yourself.

If you're in the right mindset (ie not annoyed with drunkards, but find them fun/funny), you'll enjoy yourself, and catch a little bit of the 'buzz' off the atmosphere, even if you're sober.

You do get the buzz, Ive been off the drink for years and really enjoy night outs. You just can't be bitter about the fact that you are not drinking.

dude I have had that 1000 times, but that is no reason to be drinking if you are not interested.
